Between the 5th to the 8th September the University of West London played host to a special cooking course for Thai chefs in the UK.
60 Thai chefs from various restaurants took part in the course which was organised by the Association of Thai Businesses in the UK (ATBUK) in association with the Royal Thai Embassy, London and sponsored by VeryThai.co.uk, Rumwong Restaurant in Guildford, Nava Thai Restaurant at the Hamilton Arms in Stedham, Blue Elephant and Manning Impex.
Students were given a master class in authentic Thai cooking by Chef Ajarn Srisamorn who also judged the dishes produced by participants in the practical sessions of the course.
All students were awarded a Level 1 certificate in Thai Cuisine by the Department of Skills Development of the Thai Government Ministry of Labour.
