Nong Nooch Botanical Gardens, based in Pattaya, Thailand, made their Chelsea debut in 2010 taking home a Gold Medal for their exhibit in the Grand Pavilion. In 2011 they have returned to take home a Gold Medal for the second year running.

Each sculpture is covered with flowers individually hand-crafted from petals and leaves. The 2011 exhibit is made up of more than one hundred thousand flowers.

The concept of the display is entitled “Fantastic Thailand” and draws on inspiration from the celebration of traditional Thai festivals.
