Samaggi Samagom

Samaggi Samagom organises academic and recreational activities for Thai students in the UK. The community was originally established by King Rama VI of Thailand in 1901.

Asia House

Asia House is dedicated to fostering broader appreciation of the diversity of Asia through a unique combination of cultural and corporate events.

Anglo-Thai Society

The ATS was founded in 1962 to help promote good relations between the UK and Thailand. It currently has around 300 members with an interest in Thailand.

Thai Buddhism in the UK

Thai Buddharam Temple & Cultural Centre SCIO

Buddhist Temple in Aberdeen based in a temporary location on Hamilton Place. Currently raising funds for a permanent site.

Wat Santivanarum

Based in Gravesend, Kent, the temple is currently making efforts to re-establish itself following an arson attack on the premises of the temple in 2004.

The Forest Hermitage

Thai Theravada Buddhist temple in Warwick, a branch of Wat Nong Pah Pong in North Eastern Thailand. The Hermitage offer retreats, talks and meditation sessions.

Chithurst Buddhist Monastery

Cittaviveka is a Theravada Buddhist monastery based in the Chithurst countryside. The monastery offers meditation workshops and talks based on the themes of the Dhamma.

Buddhapadipa Temple

Built in classic Thai style and the first Buddhist temple in London. This temple in Wimbledon acts a centre for the celebration of Buddhist festivals.

Amaravati Buddhist Monastery

Based in leafy Hertfordshire this Theravada Buddhist monastery follows the Thai Forest Tradition. The monastery offers Dhamma talks and a meditation retreat centre.
